In CeTARS, a PEUT is a Person Event Code used to record events that change or reflect a trainee’s status in the training record. These codes track what’s happening with the student—whether they are enrolled, have started or completed a course, withdrawn, placed on hold, or other status updates—so the system can accurately reflect where the student stands in the training pipeline. This is different from codes that designate performance levels, course locations, or instructor IDs. The key idea is that the code captures status changes for a student within CeTARS, not their performance metrics or where/with whom the course is delivered.
